About Me

Hello! My name is Marisa Hunt and I am so excited to be your kiddo's teacher this year! I am originally from Illinois and have lived in the St. Louis area for the past 10 years. I attended college at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am also certified in Early Childhood Special Education through UMSL. I also have a Master's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading, as well as a Reading Specialist certification through UMSL.

This will be my 10th year teaching and my 6th year at Ladue! Before coming to Ladue, I also taught in the Pattonville School District. During my teaching career, I have taught Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, Kindergarten and First Grade. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and camping with my husband, Nate, as well as exploring the St. Louis area! We love our fur-babies Johnny & Cash, and we also foster cats that need a temporary home, as well. I am so excited for another fun filled year at Old Bonhomme!
