About Me

Hello! My name is Marisa Hunt and I am so excited to be your kiddo's teacher this year! I am originally from Illinois and have lived in the St. Louis area for the past 12 years. I attended college at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am also certified in Early Childhood Special Education through UMSL. I also have a Master's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading, as well as a Reading Specialist certification through UMSL.

This will be my 12th year teaching and my 8th year at Ladue! Before coming to Ladue, I also taught in the Pattonville School District. During my teaching career, I have taught Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, Kindergarten and First Grade. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and camping with my husband, Nate, as well as exploring the St. Louis area! We love our fur-babies: Gandalf, Johnny & Cash! My husband and I are also expecting our first child coming this fall!

I am so excited for another fun filled year at Old Bonhomme!
